Scaling the roof and sides of mine workings is an integral part of the mining process, ensuring not only the safety of personnel but also the safety of equipment. Performing this work manually exposes personnel to increased danger and is an extremely unproductive and cost-ineffective method.
Mechanization of the scaling process is a simple and effective solution not only to ensuring personnel safety but also to significantly improving the quality and productivity of this difficult task.
The use of specialized equipment for scaling mine workings ensures a fundamentally new level of safety, productivity, and cost efficiency not only in this type of work but also throughout the entire mining process.
Taking into account the specific safety requirements of personnel and mining conditions, Titan Makina has developed and is manufacturing a special BKT roof scaling machine.
To ensure autonomous operation, the machine is equipped with a hydraulically controlled blade, which is mounted at the front of the machine and allows for the removal of debris that accumulates during operation and interferes with movement.
