Innovative Union of Technologies

02/28/2025

The Russian mining market is rapidly developing thanks to the implementation of innovative solutions and joint projects. A striking example of such a successful partnership is the work of two leading companies: GHH Fahrzeuge, a renowned supplier of specialized equipment for underground mining, and the EVOBLAST Group, a recognized leader in blasting operations. Together, they developed a unique product – a mixing and charging machine (MCM) designed for underground drilling and blasting systems.

The new MCM is based on the BEC100 chassis from the Turkish manufacturer Titan, equipped with a modern mixing and charging module developed by EVOBLAST Group specialists. The machine is specifically designed for the needs of a large Russian company, the Gaisky Mining and Processing Plant (GOK), which extracts minerals.

The main reason for choosing GHH Fahrzeuge as a partner was the combination of the company's existing fleet of Titan machines and the manufacturer's proven reputation, which has been present in the Russian market for over five years. The new SZM is characterized by a high level of versatility and durability. The fully tracked chassis ensures excellent maneuverability and maneuverability in drifts with cross-sections of 4 x 4 meters and larger. The all-wheel drive chassis is equipped with a special telescopic lift with a spacious platform with a lifting capacity of up to half a ton, ensuring comfortable and safe loading.

Ruslan Faskhutdinov, Deputy Director of Fahrzeuge Gas and Chemical Plant, commented on the advantages of the new development: "The design of our machines is distinguished by its robustness and build quality, comparable to products from renowned global brands. It is especially important to note that the BEC100 chassis is compatible with various types of mixing and loading modules from different manufacturers, allowing for modifications based on specific customer requirements. This chassis is only part of our company's overall offering. Other chassis, such as the BEC02, can be used for filling stope tanks."

The SZM installation was carried out by technical specialists from both companies directly at the customer's site. Minor design modifications to the chassis were made to meet the precise dimensions and characteristics of the charging machine components.

Sergey Moser, Development Director of the EVOBLAST Group, confirmed the success of the joint project: "The project with GHH Fahrzeuge was initiated as part of the equipment fleet upgrade. The Titan chassis was ideal for mounting our charging module. A significant advantage was the precise delivery of the chassis, which allowed the new SPM to be commissioned on time and begin full operation at the customer's site."

In addition to supplying the equipment itself, GHH Fahrzeuge provides an additional comprehensive service support service, including maintenance and the provision of necessary spare parts. The company has a branch in Gai, Orenburg Region, which has been operating for a long time, employing qualified specialists and boasting warehouses stocked with consumables and spare parts.

Users of the new SPM confirm a high level of satisfaction with the new SPM. Vadim Balakov, Head of the Drilling and Blasting Department at Gaisky Mining and Processing Plant, provided clear savings figures: "The advantage of the new SZM is that loading time is reduced by approximately half, which increases productivity and reduces overall drilling and blasting costs. The stable operation of the new machine has allowed us to increase the number of working faces per shift by almost fivefold, saving the company significant funds."
